Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Land of Elephants and Baobabs

After breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park, where ancient baobabs loom and giant elephant herds roam freely. Keep your eyes open for lions, zebras, giraffes, and elusive leopards. The Tarangire River draws in all kinds of animals — especially in dry season. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, then head to your lodge in the nearby highlands.
Overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn, Karatu (or similar).

Day 3: Serengeti National Park – Into the Endless Plains

Leave the highlands behind as you journey into the vast Serengeti, Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife reserve. Along the way, stop at scenic viewpoints over Ngorongoro and spot animals even before entering the park. Once in the Serengeti, the golden grasslands open wide, dotted with wildebeest, antelope, and prowling big cats. The sound of nature fills the air as you watch the sun set over your tented camp.
Overnight at Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp (or similar).

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Nature’s Greatest Stage

Wake up early for one last Serengeti game drive, then begin your journey toward Ngorongoro. Descend 600 meters into the Crater — a natural amphitheater teeming with life. Watch hippos wallow in ponds, lions patrol the grass, and maybe even spot the rare black rhino. After your thrilling game drive, ascend to Karatu for a relaxing evening.
