Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Leave Arusha after breakfast and journey to Lake Manyara — a vibrant, green park tucked between escarpment and lake. Watch for flamingos, hippos, and baboons, and keep an eye out for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.
Overnight at Panorama Safari Camp (or similar budget camp/lodge).
Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
Drive through the rolling Ngorongoro highlands and descend into the vast Serengeti. Game drive across golden plains scattered with wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and lions on the hunt. As the sky fades orange, arrive at your campsite in the bush.
Overnight at Pimbi Public Campsite, Serengeti (or similar).
Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti Safari
Rise early for a sunrise game drive — the best time to spot predators on the move. Spend the full day exploring the Serengeti, stopping for lunch under acacias and tracking the Big Five across endless savannahs.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands
After one last Serengeti safari, travel toward the cooler Ngorongoro highlands. Climb through green hills and settle into camp on the crater rim. At night, the air is crisp and the stars are sharp.
Overnight at Simba Campsite, Ngorongoro Rim (or similar).
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Return to Arusha
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive — a compact Eden teeming with elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalo, and hyenas. After lunch in the wild, drive back to Arusha and say farewell to the bush.
