Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha after breakfast and head straight into Tarangire — a park known for its towering baobabs and large elephant herds. Enjoy your first game drive as lions, giraffes, and wildebeest roam across golden grasslands.
Overnight at Fig Tree Lodge, Karatu (or similar budget lodge).
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – A Lost World
Rise early and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Watch hippos in sunlit pools, herds of zebra on open plains, and maybe even catch a glimpse of the elusive black rhino.
Overnight at Fig Tree Lodge, Karatu (or similar).
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Forests & Flamingos
Venture into the lush forests and lake vistas of Manyara, a park alive with birdlife and cheeky baboons. You might spot tree-climbing lions, troops of monkeys, or hippos wallowing near the shore. After the game drive, return to Arusha.
Overnight in Arusha (own arrangement or optional add-on).
Day 4: Departure
Enjoy a relaxed morning. Depending on your schedule, transfer to the airport or continue with your next Tanzanian destination.
